Mandee Pauch Relations - April 4, 2017 – Billy Pauch Sr. and Jr. recorded a pair of top-10 finishes at Delaware International Speedway on Sunday in Delmar, DE for the first leg of the Full Throttle Series.
Pauch Sr. started second and finished second in his heat race, putting him in the redraw for the feature. Out of 12 positions Sr. drew seven. Sr. wasn’t very pleased with his performance.
“I need to regroup and work on my setup a little better,” Pauch Sr. said. “The motor ran good, almost too good; we just spun the wheels a lot. We need to hook the wheels to the track a little better and hopefully we’ll figure it out.”
Pauch Jr. started fifth in his heat and qualified third, placing him into the redraw. He rolled off for the feature in tenth.
“We really weren’t that great,” mentioned Pauch Jr. “We’ve been fighting to get the balance on this car since we got it. It wasn’t the best run but we’re in one piece. We just need to be a little bit better down there.”
Pauch Sr. will be at Bridgeport Speedway on Sunday, April 9th. Pauch Jr. will be at Big Diamond Speedway Friday, April 7th, New Egypt Speedway Saturday, April 8th and Bridgeport Speedway Sunday, April 9th.
