Mandee Pauch Relations - April 11, 2017 – Billy Pauch Jr. and the Danny’s Pizza Pizzaz No. 51 team are making strides.
Pauch Jr. and the team tackled Bridgeport Speedway with the Big Block Modified on Sunday, April 9th.
“We got behind the eight ball,” Pauch Jr. said. “We built a brand new racecar just to go to Bridgeport.”
With a bad pill draw Pauch started ninth in his heat race. He struggled but finished sixth to lock into the 16th starting position for the main event.
“We drove up to seventh in the feature,” stated Pauch. “It wasn’t the best run but no one passed us and we went forward.”
Pauch may have struggled early on in the night but they made strides come feature time. “With a little bit of tweaking here and there and a little bit better at drawing then we’ve got something to work with.”
Pauch Jr.’s next race will be at Big Diamond Speedway Friday, April 14th and New Egypt Speedway Saturday, April 15th.
